Call Shot - a type of pool game where the player has to the call the object ball to be hit in the specified pocketed. 8 ball is an example of a call shot pool game.

Cushion - the bumpers placed inside the rails of the pockets in the billiard tables.
Cut Shot - when the cue ball hits the object ball to one side or the other of full center and driving it into a different direction than the original cue ball path.
