Dead Ball - when the cue ball is hit in a way that moves the speed of the cue ball to the object ball.

Dead Ball Shot when a dead ball stroke occurs.

Diamonds - when the cue ball bounces off an object ball into another.

Double Hit - when the tip of the cue strikes the cue ball twice on the same stroke

Drop Pockets - type of table pockets that do not return automatically he balls to the foot of the table and requires the balls to be moved manually.
