Back Scratch - same as intentional foul

Banking Lane - the path of the banked ball on its way to the pocket (usually the area next to the side rail

Big Ball Position - when the position of an object ball is near the cushion in a manner that increases the margin of error to a shot

Blocker - when a ball lies between a playable ball and a target pocket, or between the cue ball and a playable ball in a way that blocks the way to a direct shot to the pocket

Blood Test - when an opponent leaves a long shot on purpose

Break Serve - when a player wins the game on his opponent's break
